Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. In the classroom, office or playground, we work together to create a supportive, inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
"Welcome to Bardia Public School!
I am delighted to welcome you to our school’s website, a window into the heart of our vibrant and aspirational community. At Bardia Public School, we take immense pride in being part of a proud tradition of public education, an inclusive, equitable, and high-performing system that nurtures the potential of each child and enriches our society as a whole.
Situated on the beautiful Dharawal country in South Western Sydney, our large and diverse K-6 school is a true reflection of the rich histories, cultures, and perspectives that make our community unique. With around 950 students from many linguistic backgrounds, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, and learners with additional needs, we celebrate diversity as one of our greatest strengths.
Our vision is to provide a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and empowered to thrive. We are deeply committed to excellence in literacy and numeracy through explicit, evidence-based teaching methods, ensuring all students have the foundation to succeed academically. Beyond the core curriculum, we offer a wide range of extracurricular opportunities and innovative learning hubs that inspire students to explore their passions, discover new talents, and develop lifelong skills.
Our School Excellence Plan drives our focus on continuous improvement, ensuring all students learn, grow, and belong in an environment that champions academic achievement and equity. We work in partnership with students, families, and the wider community to build a school culture of high expectations, respect, and shared responsibility.
We invite you to explore all that Bardia Public School offers and to become part of our thriving community where every student is encouraged to dream big and achieve their best."
Mrs Cherie Bradwell, Principal of Bardia Public School
